I went to Bristol, VA Senator Obama to hear you speak. I waited in line for almost two hours and then another couple of hours inside the gym. But you were worth waiting for. I came out feeling enegized and hopeful. I had my 21 yr. old daughter with me that day. I want her to have hope too. She will be facing having no insurance coverage in a couple of months. I cannot stand to think about it. She is my life. I cannot stand to think of me having insurance and her not. You have got to help us. Please.
While scanning through Big Russ & Me, I came to the epilogue and while looking over it I realized that this could have come from any father, from any town in any state...from any father that loves their children and only wants what is best for them.
After a couple of hours of standing in line and another hour and a half waiting in the gym, I finally got to see and hear our Dem candidate for President of the United States...wow...just wow. He was absolutely amazing.
This is going to be a short diary. I don't think a lot of words are needed. As the election gets closer and the candidates promise us a stairway straight to heaven if you will just give them your vote, remember to take a minute and think.

What a great day to be a John Edwards' supporter! It's like with your own kid on awards day at school. You know they are great and have worked hard to get where they are but when their name is called out to come up on stage and receive their award, you fill with pride. People got to see last night what we have all have been seeing for a long time now and that is John Edwards is the best qualified person to become President of the United States. I have to say I was and am a very proud supporter. Everyone got to see the passion and fire in John Edwards that we all knew was there to begin with. When I put my support stamp on anyone that speaks about who I am personally and I pretty picky with that. I don't give my support to just anybody...they have to earn and John Edwards has earned it many times over.

Good evening everyone! Tonight's EENR will be focused on JRE's up and coming Road to One America Tour. To get us started, here is the eulogy given at the funeral of Robert F Kennedy by Teddy Kennedy. I'm in no way trying to say John is RFK...although they do share a lot of the same ideas and RFK's focus always seemed to be on helping those less fortunate just as JRE. John Edwards is a strong man in his own right and has brought fresh new ideas to the table for this election but one cannot help but see the similarites of their message and their dreams to make the world a better place for us all.

I have been hearing a lot of horror stories on television lately about what a hassle it has become to fly. Well, I had no idea just how bad until it took my husband 48 hours almost just to get out of the country. More below the flip.

Tonight's diary will be short and to the point. I have two very sick family members that need me right now. Hubby has been running a temp for almost a week and we have no idea what the problem is and MIL is coughing a lot and not eating...it's not good at my house right now. Hubby leaves for France in a week and a half and that scares me to death to think of him going out of the country as sick as he is right now so any good thoughts and prayers would be much appreciated.
Now, with that all said, follow me below the fold and we'll look to see what John has been up to today.
Yes, that's right today is my 31st wedding anniversary...31 years to a wonderful, caring and understanding man. A man much like John Edwards...or at least that's how I see him. I guess that' what appeals to me so much in John Edwards. I see a leader. I see a man that will unite the country. I see loyal husband and father and so much more....the same as I see in my hubby. Pity for hubby though...I'm sure not Elizabeth Edwards but she is someone I look up to and I do wish I could be more like her. Ok, that's all the gushy mushy stuff for now...on to the news for tonight...
