No, it was something else, something elusive and really creepy. For some reason, every time his mug appeared on the talking heads shows (which was once almost a daily occurrance), Dreier seemed - well, he just semed disturbingly familiar to me, for reasons I could never quite put my finger on.
Then, as I was watching TV today with all the coverage of The Bug Man's departure, it clicked...during a commercial.
Hillary's mailing starts off like so:
"Dear Friend,
Part of my job is being a good listener. Whether it's listening to my colleagues in the Senate, voters back home in New York, or Americans across the country as I work hard for the causes so important to us - like improving access to health care, strengthening the economy, protecting social security and our constitutional rights, and fighting for wiser national and homeland security policies - it's an important part of what I do"
Hillary goes on after the flip....
I have no problem with this symbolic act; it's traditional to do this (even though I won't be shedding any tears for this man, who has done so much to hurt this country).
What I do have a problem with is this...(after the fold)...
Now home to the new DC baseball team, I guess they couldn't have anything named for a great Democrat mentioned so often in the media, and it must have really pissed off the wingnuts to have to go there.
So they've fixed that nagging problem.
