TX-Sen: John Cornyn-Officially a Big Fat Environmental Zero

Fri Sep 28, 2007 at 06:31:23 AM PDT

Well,  as the Texas League of Conservation Voters just came out with their Legislative scorecard  and Rep. Rick Noriega, who's running for the nomination to defeat John Cornyn was rated at 96%* for his work in the Texas Legislature, I thought it would be a good time to do a piece analyzing Junior John's environmental record.

Turns out to be easier than I thought.

John Cornyn is a big, fat, environmental Zero.

For the second session running.

So, basically, if you'd like to keep breathing air you don't have to chew, drinking water that  you don't have to hold your nose to swallow, and  reverse the climate crisis so  you don't have to worry about frying in a drought or washing away in a flood...

Time to trade up in the U.S. Senate.

Easy, peasy.

*If you're from Texas, you can download the scorecard here  and check on your own representative.
